As one of Turkey's rapidly developing universities, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, frequently mentioned with the success stories it creates in its region, draws a strategic framework with its Corporate Communication Application and Research Center (KİMER) based on its deep experience of over 50 years. The Corporate Communication Center works to ensure the collaborations necessary for MAKÜ to consistently rank high in academic rankings, to create the perception and unity of "being a part of the university" between students and the university, to establish lasting and effective ties with students even after graduation, and to make MAKÜ more attractive for successful students, thereby enhancing the student profile of the university, with the aim of increasing MAKÜ's national and international recognition and brand value.
The Corporate Communication Application and Research Center (KİMER), which determines the communication strategy on which the corporate image of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University is established, works on the perceived identity of MAKÜ both internally and externally. The center, which draws the roadmap necessary for the perception of MAKÜ to proceed positively, produces content for MAKÜ's corporate website www.mehmetakif.edu.tr and corporate accounts on social media platforms and manages the interactions received. Developing a consistent and standard discourse among the contents on the official website and social networks, the Corporate Communication Application and Research Center aims to increase the internal and external recognition of our university while conveying developments related to MAKÜ officially, reliably, and from a single source.
The center, which carries out MAKÜ communication in complete harmony, develops projects for the benefit of our university and establishes the necessary infrastructure for this. By also undertaking the task of media relations, it manages the flow of accurate information from MAKÜ to the press organs.
Our Corporate Communication Center plays a leading role in creating an effective brand communication strategy for MAKÜ. In this context, it ensures the management and coordination of the projects necessary for our university's promotions on a national and international scale to be supported through appropriate platforms and to achieve an image compatible with the identity of our university.
